Egg Designs by EmersonWolfe Egg Designs by EmersonWolfe
Class: Illustration IV
We’re working on a Paper Mache Egg, that we have to make then photograph to hide in an “eye spy” page. The design of the egg could be whatever we want but traditionally the painted easter eggs had symbols to do with their cultures. With that in mind, my egg represents 3 parts of my heritage. The Fleur de Lis is a French symbol, the daffodil is to represent the Welsh part of me and finally the Celtic knot is to represent the Irish in me. The colour scheme is analogous, Blue, Green and Yellow. These colours also tie into the symbols. Done with Sharpies and Prismacolour pencil crayons.
